Travel around the Bavarian capital in approximately one hour aboard the “Around Munich” steam train, departing from Munich East station.

As a special highlight, St Nicholas will travel on the train and give a small present to every child.

Light meals as well as hot and cold drinks will be available to purchase in the dining car.

Departures at approximately 10:00, 11:30, 13:30 and 15:00 each day.

Special attraction on Sunday, 13 December 2026

On this day, two steam trains will travel around Munich in opposite directions. During each trip, passengers will experience the now-rare sight of the other steam train passing by. Apart from minor changes, the departure times will be the same as on days when only one train is operating.

Tickets can be purchased on the platform or aboard the train on the day of travel.
