Train 2308 Di. 15.08.2023 „Sonderzug Gerd Müller“
On the day of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, we will take you in a special train following the footsteps of Gerd Müller from where he worked in Munich to his place of birth in Nördlingen. Since the Protestant part predominates in Nördlingen, there is no public holiday here and all shops are open on this day. The train is pulled from Munich with a historic electric locomotive before a steam locomotive takes over the train service from Augsburg to Nördlingen. In Nördlingen you have the opportunity to visit the Bavarian Railway Museum or to get to know the historic old town including the newly erected Gerd Müller statue as part of a city tour. The city tour or a visit to the Bavarian Railway Museum are included in the fare.
